Individual Therapy

Clinical psychotherapy is the foundation of my professional work. I provide support to help you manage and overcome the challenges you are experiencing. Sometimes my clients have identifiable challenges and goals for which they want to explore and process. Other times, they are looking to explore long-lived concerns through insight-oriented approaches. I possess extensive clinical experience addressing a wide range of client situations and presenting issues.

I work from several psychotherapy techniques. Among them are interpersonal, humanistic, and multicultural methods, to mention just a few. Fundamentally, my core approach is cognitive-behavioral. Regardless of your background or the concerns you wish to address, I am committed to offering a supportive environment that facilitates your progress toward achieving your goals. My work is based on mutual, attainable challenge at the client’s pace.

Couples Counseling

Romantic relationships bring unique challenges. Managing the dynamics of a partnership while addressing individual needs and experiences presents significant complexity. If you are a couple starting off and looking for minor tweaks or a long-existing couple with significant challenges (and those in between), I can help. My assistance comes in helping you both with better communication, trust, commitment, and intimacy.

I take a non-judgmental approach, aiming to assist you with both stated and evolving goals. I focus on ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued, no matter the relationship dynamics. My impartial perspective applies to all couples, and I am experienced in working with a broad range of relationship situations.

Strengthening connection, communication, intimacy, and forgiveness all are hallmarks of relational improvement. Feel free to contact me for a consultation.

Organizational Counseling

Organizations and businesses, much like individuals are multifaceted, with the interchange of interpersonal and work needs intersecting to create a unique culture. As such, managers and supervisors are responsible for examining all factors that contribute to maximizing profits while also minimizing losses and inefficiency. Organizational health, employee/supervisor relations, employee satisfaction, and efficiency are all fundamental to profitability.

I examine workplace dynamics to assess organizational culture. This leads to informed consultations and practical recommendations that organizational leaders can utilize to strengthen profitability. I work with business leaders in synchronizing profitability to organizational health. This includes hiring practices, effective employee incentives, and the performance review process.

I am a licensed psychologist with an MBA from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. Please contact me for a consultation about our future work together.

Supervision

Supporting professional growth and training future professionals has been both important and rewarding throughout my career. Before founding Bennett Evolution, I served as the lead professional trainer in multiple university programs, where I developed extensive expertise in clinical supervision. Additionally, I am skilled at guiding new clinicians in their professional and business development.

If you observe that you consistently need crisis services, individual outpatient psychotherapy may not be right for you. Inpatient or intensive outpatient programs might be most appropriate.
